Biden is under a special counsel investigation for keeping classified documents in the home.

No visitor logs exist for Biden’s Wilmington home, site of classified doc discovery, WH Counsel’s Office says.

There are no visitor logs for President Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware. The White House says it is common practice to keep comprehensive visitor logs at the White House.

Biden’s lawyers say no such record exists for his home in Delaware. Republicans demanded the visitor logs this weekend.

Vice President Joe Biden has restored the tradition of keeping White House visitors logs, the White House says. The previous administration had ended the tradition. Biden is facing an investigation into his handling of classified documents after stashes were found at his home and a pro-Biden think tank.

The Secret Service also confirmed on Sunday that, while a detail is assigned to the property, no visitors are recorded.

“Because it’s a private property, we don’t independently maintain our own visitor logs,” spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told reporters.

The White House must provide the Wilmington residence’s visitor log, Rep. James Comer says. Comer had demanded to see logs for the residence on Sunday. Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel to investigate the matter.

The investigation will examine “whether any person or entity violated the law in connection with this matter”. Following the release of the initial documents, the White House Counsel’s Office examined Biden’s two Delaware homes in Rehoboth Beach and Wilmington.

When White House attorneys discovered the records in Biden’s Wilmington garage, they promptly informed the DOJ. There has been no indication what the documents contain or whether Biden or anyone else read them after he left office as vice president.
