Christina Applegate Joins ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ Table Read

Christina Applegate fans, rejoice! The actress recently hinted that Dead to Me may be her last acting gig due to her recent diagnosis of MS, but she’s signed on for a charity table read of the Christmas classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, which you can view from the comfort of your very own home.

Brendan FraserSeth Rogen, Fred Armisen, Jean Smart, Ken Jeong and more will also participate, including autistic actors Dwayne Cox, Chelsea Darnell, Max Gadson, Spencer Harte, Lucas Salusky and Hannah Schindler, benefitting the Ed Asner Family Center, which works to increase enrichment in education for individuals with special needs and provide them with mental health resources.  

Tickets include not only the reading, but a Q&A with the cast, surprise musical performances, and a live charity auction offering “amazing gifts in multiple categories.” Tom Bergeron, of AFV and Dancing With the Stars fame, will host the event, which is also set to honor Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann for their “commitment to elevating the conversation surrounding special needs individuals.”

Tickets are available online for just $29.99. For $49.99, you can also donate a ticket to a special needs family.
