Johnny Depp surprises a dying fan by briefly reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow.

A young dying fan’s dream has come true with a Captain Jack Sparrow surprise.

Johnny Depp surprised 11-year-old Kori by launching into the iconic character.  The Pirates of the Caribbean actor decided to do something extra special for her at the London Film Festival.

YouTube star Captain Kori has had two heart transplants but sadly his body rejected the organs.

He’s now in palliative care and doctors have decided not to give him another chance at life.  His mum Pixi says there is ‘no cure now’ for her son’s condition.

“It was very painful and drawn-out, and he had to relearn how to walk and communicate. “He stated that he would rather die than have to go through something like it again.

“It wasn’t simply his decision; it was a joint decision with the medical staff, and it wasn’t taken lightly, but he played a significant role in this decision, and he understands what is going to happen.”

The brave 11-year-old decided to build a YouTube page in the hopes of gaining as many subscribers as possible, which has been aided by his discussion with Depp.

He was celebrating 10,000 subscribers just two days ago, but this figure has since risen to 173,000 at the time of writing.

Depp appears in his regular Captain Jack Sparrow outfit and makeup in his personal video message to Kori, which was reportedly organized through the Make a Wish charity.

Staying fully in character throughout, he says: “I’m your number one fan Captain Kori, all respect and love mate.” Also FaceTime Kori whilst staying in character and pretending to be on a ship.

Kori was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, and underwent an operation for a new heart in 2018 – however, this was rejected. Last January, he had a second transplant but the organ was not accepted once again.

He decided not to undergo another transplant following discussions with his medical team and his family. Thousands of people have praised the ongoing exchange, with one writing: “Kori’s story on YT is the reason why the Internet exists”.
