Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Secure £3m Novel Rights to Revive Hollywood Dream.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made a significant move in their quest to revive their Hollywood dreams by acquiring the rights to a multi-million-pound novel.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex purchased the rights to the romantic book, “Meet Me At The Lake,” penned by Carley Fortune.

The acquisition of the novel is estimated to have cost around £3 million, but it presents a promising opportunity for the couple to make their mark in Hollywood once again.

This venture will mark their first collaboration behind the scenes.

Following their departure from royal duties (Megxit), this decision could prove to be a pivotal moment in their careers. The novel, “Meet Me At The Lake,” proved immensely popular, with an impressive 37,000 copies sold within just the first week of its release.

The story revolves around two individuals in their 30s who find love in each other’s company.

Interestingly, parts of the novel appear to resonate with Prince Harry, as it touches on the emotional turmoil faced by a character who lost a parent in a tragic car crash during childhood.

Furthermore, themes of drug and alcohol use, also covered by the Duke in his memoir “Spare,” find their way into the narrative of the book.

An insider revealed that the novel’s compelling themes captured the couple’s interest and prompted them to select it as their first adaptation for Netflix.

Despite their plans for production, the Hollywood entertainment industry is currently facing a strike by screenwriters and actors, which may persist for several months.

Nonetheless, this venture could be an opportunity for Meghan and Harry to rebuild their careers, especially after their partnership with Swedish streaming service Spotify ended.

Meghan had previously hosted her Archetype podcast on the platform, but the show was not renewed.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is actively working on a series centered around the Paralympic-style Invictus Games, titled “Heart of Invictus,” expected to be released on Netflix later this year.
